The Painting Of Me..

It’s funny how you continue to paint an even more complex portrait of me
Every time I think that the picture is simple and understandable, you brush a little more abstract idea or belief
And with every stroke it seems to add a bit of color to my black and white perception of life and my feelings toward you
Every little detail completes me or defines me as the painting becomes more clear that you feel the same way I do
My life stands on the solid foundation you continue to make sure the easel is properly positioned
Just to make sure that the painting doesn’t fall or to add a shade or element of Love that’s missing
You add the color red that defines my heart, which was empty, you occupy that space and it now beats and feels
You add blue and yellow to define the stars and the sky, the few places that gets me high and makes me happy because you make my dreams seem obtainable, you make reaching for the stars seems so real
You also add various colors which in return mix and matches just like my life, How do you know me so well? You understand that my portrait is something that you have to take time with and care for, because you love painting me and it isn’t hard to tell…..
